Looking for fields

Postby cvaldemar » Wed Dec 14, 2011 3:02 pm

I'm currently integration e-conomic with a third party time tracking application called Tempo, and I need to map certain fields when importing Account data from e-conomic.

I have managed to map most fields (for the CSV/XML import file) to the e-conomic counterparts, but I can't for the life of me find the following:

Project -> YourRef (the "Deres ref." in the UI)
Project -> Activities (the assigned activities to a project)

Are these at all exposed?

Thanks.

Hi,

No, these are not currently exposed.

As for YourRef, that'd probably be fairly easy to expose - anyone else needing this?

Activities is a somewhat different matter. On one hand, it's not too complicated technically - on the other hand, I have a feeling we may be changing how that works in our next project update stint. Which would obviously then make it kind of a shame to have exposed it in the API 'prematurely'.

Hi again,

YourRef is more of a nice-to-have and would help produce time reports for specific contacts.

Activities assigned to a specific project is needed in order to integrate with most if not all time tracking applications, I'm sure others would stumble upon the same issue. I would need to know which activity to log time to. Or else I need do a generic "client billable/non-billable" activity associated with every project and map time to that... not that nice a workaround still.

I hope you'll consider exposing it, even prematurely.

Thanks.
