No, this is not possible at this time.

In any case, something like that would probably need a bit of careful thinking: First of all, "paid" isn't just a yes/no thing - an invoice can be partially paid, it can be partially or fully credited, etc..

Secondly - since the matching of payment(s) and/or credit note(s) against an invoice can be undone, you won't really be able to count on an invoice being registered as (possibly fully) paid as a 'final, unchangeable' state.
