Using plain soap through http

0
Hi all and economics Support

I was trying to access the api thorugh simple soap requests. It seems to work fine to connect and I get:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><soap:Body><ConnectResponse xmlns="http://e-conomic.com"><ConnectResult>w35asp3qxh2m4ijaiarhediq</ConnectResult></ConnectResponse></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

I assume I now need to make use of the connectresult token, but how?

In any subsequent request I can't seem to find a way to set the token, e.g. I would like to perform the following request "Employee_GetTimeEntries"

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Even though we have enabled CORS, accessing the API from a ie. a web page, will not work, because the SOAP authenication is based on a session cookie.

I am not sure what this answers exactly means. I guess since you have it soap api available it must be possible to use it?

That also seems to be the case when looking at this page:
http://www.e-conomic.com/developer/tutorials
.. where you write:
To use a plain SOAP call, check out the details in the ConnectWithToken method. Note that in the section below, "token" refers to the access ID, and "appToken" refers to the private access ID. So all I am asking for is a simple example on how you login a do one simpel operation after loging in.
Sorry. I misunderstood your question.

Depending on what programming language you come from there is a few examples there: https://github.com/e-conomic/eco-api-ex
